perfect portable crib August 21, 2010 katy d I love this little thing. It moves through doorways, it packs up and down easily, its super cute and doesnt take up a lot of space. My daughters room is upstairs and ours is downstairs. Since it is super hot upstairs and she still wakes up in the night, she sleeps downstairs in this portable crib every night. Some other reviews say that sheets are hard to find for it so I bought a set of two along with the crib. I dont need anymore though because I discovered that a standard pillowcase fits over it perfectly and makes a fine sheet for her to sleep on. The bassinet also makes this perfect for her to use as a bed at night. She is three and a half months and I anticipate that we can get use out of this as her bed for a at least 2 or three more months. Another good feature of the size is that when family come to stay we can easily roll it into our bedroom without breaking it down and putting it back up, that way she doesnt get disturbed at night from grandpa going to the powder room during the night. I would definitely recommend it for new babies.
It has advantages over a co-sleeper too. When she was very little she would make loud grunting sounds for hours in her sleep. I just rolled her little bed out into the living room and that way I could get some rest at night.
Love it August 2, 2010 U. Kane (Idaho, USA) It's easy to put up, easy to put together, super light and super sturdy.
Awsome buy
Best Baby Gear EVER! July 6, 2010 Wendy Kane This travel crib/bassinet is one of the best pieces of baby gear I have ever owned! We bought it for our third child after getting rid of all of our original baby equipment. He's now nearly 4 months old, and we've used it since he first came home.
The size is perfect. It fits through a doorway and in the corner of our bedroom. My husband can fold it up in under 5 minutes. We've used it at my mom's house and in a hotel room with great results!
I bought the sheets that are recommended for it. They are not soft at first, but they feel better after several washes. One tricky part about them is putting them on the mattress. You have to bend the mattress up and in toward the center so that the sheet will fit on it. Once you lay it down, the sheet will be snug.
At 24 inches long, my son still fits in it. He will be outgrowing the bassinet portion soon, but we plan to keep it as a playpen for around our house and when we travel.
My only complaint is that the mattress sags in the middle. It's done that almost since the beginning, and I don't know why.
I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend it to my friends!
Great to use at bedside as bassinet June 4, 2010 Mother of 2 boys Wanted to purchase a bassinet but didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that would only be used for a month or so. We decided to go with this travel size pack in play because it's the same size as a bassinet but can be used for months on end as a travel bed when we travel - it's perfect! The bassinet sheets fit perfectly and it's the perfect height next to our bed. (we have our bed on the frame that the store gives you plus a 9in. boxspring then mattress 7in). It's also got some great air vents (mesh) along the inside so if baby rolls to side, he/she can still breath easily.
Couldnt be happier April 21, 2010 Riah G (Mildenhall, UK) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I was a little unsure when I bought this. For a few reasons. I was unsure if I would like the brown and pink print. I am having a girl but I thought it was a bit bright. But my husband really liked this one so I went for it. I was also a little unsure about the whole size thing. I know that when you first bring home baby a smaller space is great to have. They feel a little safer. I had worried though that it wouldnt be big enough to last us more than a few months. When I recieved this in the mail I rushed home and opened it up. I was happy to find it pretty much put together. Which is great since my husband was away for work. I got it all set up and fell in love. The colors are great and it is a little smaller than the normal pack'n play but plenty of room to grow. This is a great product. We are going to use it in our room when we first bring baby home. It has a bassinet piece that comes with it and it is very strong and will easily hold a newborn baby. I am very glad we went with the lite. I have no problems with this product at all. Money well spent!
