Pretty good. . .but could be better April 12, 2010 Jennifer A. Born (Louisville, KY) This monitor is pretty good for the money. The picture is clear and it's easy to work. Downsides: 1) there's no battery-life gauge on the handset, so all you get is a reddish light for about 5 minutes, then it dies 2) we're in an apartment and someone's crappy cell phone interferes with it. Daily, the signal dies because of it. We had an audio monitor before and we still have to use it because of the interference, but other than the above 2 things, it's worked really well.
Woot Win - great product. February 2, 2010 Keith Baker (Columbus, OH) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the second baby monitor I've owned - the first one being a Graco that got tossed down the stairs by my first born. For my second born, I bought this one from [...], and couldn't have been happier.
I don't know about the "problem with electronics" as I've got wireless routers, laptops, a desktop, three cell phones and assorted random electronics operating the majority of the time, and have had no problem.
I haven't tested the range, but it has worked fine being at opposite ends of my 3-bedroom house, with perfect color, perfect night vision, and excellent sound.
Pretty good after trying others November 24, 2009 C. Garcia (VA USA) I bought another video monitor first and it was bad. Static for both video and sound.
It turns out it was not a good fit for my house but it worked great for a town house so ended up getting this one. I've had no issue with it other than the battery dying too fast. It won't hold through the nigh so I have to keep it plugged in. Other than that I'm pretty happy with it.
Bad Product, Great Customer Service November 20, 2009 G. Tuttle (Lakewood, WA United States) After alot of reviewing we bought this camera system due to the features, consumer rating, and price point (on sale sealed the deal). Received the monitor and quickly found out the monitor is defective. Had two options return the whole unit to Amazon for a refund or call the customer service to see if there was another resolution. *Note: the user's manual is not that well thought out, just the basics to get you through a normal setup.
Customer service didn't even question my abilities to follow simple instruction, which is not the case with most companies (I get frustrated when a CS rep has me ensure I remembered to plug the unit in or turn it on). They took my information and are sending out a pre-paid return label for a full refund. This was not my first choice to remediate the situation but it is a very satifying feel to not have to deal with the constant e-mail or calling to ensure the product will be taken care of. In addition, they are refunding me full price of the monitor so I will not be out the shipping charges (rare these days).
Although it did not work out the customer service has definitely ensured that I will be looking to there product line in the future.
Not a great product, I wasted my money October 10, 2009 O. Akoh-arrey (Laurel, Maryland) Well, the first few hrs it seemed to work well, the the signal was poor after that and then it shots off after a couple of hours of using it. It does this every night, there is so much static I cannot see the baby. Sometimes I can barely see the baby on the screen. Sometime I wake up and the screen is off even though I am using AC adapter. There is hardly any color most of the time, it might as well be black-and white. I am so disappointed with this product.
