Product Description If the crib does not have a flat bottom for the sensor pad to rest on, place the masonite board on top of the springs and the Sensor Pad on top of the board and under the mattress. The masonite board will prevent damage to the sensor pad due to bending and will allow Angelcare to function properly.

Nothing but pure profit February 25, 2010 H. Kelly 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this and paid $30 to have it shipped to HI. I was a super paranoid first time mom and wanted to use their board to make sure the monitor worked. Not worth it.
Later we bought a second Angelcare and went to Home Depot for the board. They had the identical board and cut it to size for free. The original board was big enough to cut two from. So basically I got two boards for a fraction of the price of this one.
Go to Home Depot instead May 20, 2009 staceycat72 (Portland, OR USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The price for this piece of Masonite is ridiculous. Go to Home Depot and get a piece of 1/4" plywood or a piece of Masonite for 10x less. The Angelcare monitor, however, is totally worth it--five stars!
masonite board March 16, 2009 Debra M. Levensaler 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This came in a very timely manner and was ok but you would be able to cut a piece of this same type of board probably for a lot less expense and save on shipping costs.
NOT WHAT I THOUGHT January 14, 2009 Dana (New York, NY USA) 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
It's just a plain board, that you can definitely purchase at a local hardware store. I was expecting something a little different, considering it was $25.15 with shipping, maybe a logo or something fancy on it to make me feel that it was worth it. However, I cant complain too much because although it is annoying to see what it is, the company recommends to buy this board, and you can't take a chance when it comes to a baby, so I would have paid hundreds for this stupid brown board, and you should too.
Much smaller than I expected May 22, 2008 Dee 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This board is small. I mistakenly though it would cover at least part of my son's bassinet, but it doesn't even reach from side to side, much less the length of it. I should have listened to other reviewers and went to home depot and had them cut me a small board.
