5 out of 5 stars Good build quality, features   February 9, 2010

All around a good sturdy seat. One drawback is that when it is rear facing the passenger seat must be pretty far forward. Getting a kid out is pretty easy, the hardest part is getting their hands through the arm loops. Forward facing it looks nice and fits well in a large vehicle. When we turned it forward-facing my daughter suddenly didn't mind going on car trips as much! That's a relief! It sits up pretty high so she can see out pretty well. One other thing is that when your kid falls asleep their head might fall forward in an uncomfortable position, so just shove a small pillow on the side of their head when that happens. I would definitely recommend it for a car seat after your baby grows out of their infant one.

5 out of 5 stars Getting a second one   January 31, 2010

I got the Comfort Sport after reading consumer reports for my daughter in 2007. She is still in it. She is average height and weight and she is just now out growing out it. her shoulders are getting a little to high. The cover was easy to wash and washed well. She will be getting a new seat next month when she turns 4. I hate to get a belt adjusting (high back booster), but she is over 30lbs and is finally getting too tall for all the 5 point harness seats. I am purchasing another comfort sport for her 9 month old brother who is out growing his snug ride seat.
I think I got my moneys worth 3 years in the comfort sport and it still looks new (MANY WASHES!!!!). If my math is right she has logged around 700 hours in that car seat. (40 minutes a day, 6 days a week, for 3 years)

This seat had decent reviews so I decided to buy it and try it out with my daughter. Installation was a breeze for forward facing, but when put in the seat, my daughter screamed. She has never been overly fussy in her other seat, an Evenflo Titan Elite, even when put in it multiple times a day. Even though there is a nice squishy cover over the seat, she seemed miserable in it like something was under the cover hurting her. Needless to say, we did not keep this seat. It did not work for us, but if you are planning on purchasing this seat, I would try it at a store first.

4 out of 5 stars Great Car Seat   January 13, 2010

We've had this car seat for 3 years and it's been wonderful. It's a good basic car seat and does not cost an arm and a leg.

Pros:
- affordable
- easy to use & install
- seat belt clips are easy & smooth to unlatch
- easy to clean w/removable cover

Cons:
- plastic hooks/buttons on seat cover becomes lose after first few washings. Easily lost
- harness latch is a little too easy to remove since our 3 1/2 can figure out how to unlatch herself.

I would buy this product again.

5 out of 5 stars The price is right!   December 28, 2009

The price was right. We actually purchased this seat for our trips to NYC when we go visit family (we keep it there). It doesnt have as much padding as the Britax we have at home, but it does what it's suppose to.. Our child loved it, but every child likes something new! :)
