Product Description
When your baby grows too big for his infant seat, but is too small to face forward, this "in between" car seat is just right. The American Academy of Pediatricians recommends your child ride rear-facing as long as comfortably possible - at least until 20 lbs. AND one year of age. The ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat can be used rear-facing up to 30 lbs then turns forward-facing for use as a toddler seat up to 40 lbs. The 5-point harness helps keep your child secure, while a head support and plush, roomy seat keep him comfy. There?s even a cup/snack holder to keep drinks and snacks handy.

Features:

  • 5-point harness with front adjustment helps keep Baby secure
  • 3 seat heights and 2crotch strap positions keep your child sitting comfortably
  • EPS energy absorbing foam
  • Removable infant head support cushions head and neck
  • Cup/snack holder keeps drinks and snacks handy
  • Soft harness covers keep Baby comfortably buckled
  • Easy-to-read level indicator helps ensure correct installation in the rear-facing position
  • LATCH equipped for easy installation
  • Approved for airplane use
  • Machine-washable seat cushion
  • Metal and plastic parts may be cleaned with mild soap and water
  • Buckle may be cleaned with a damp cloth
  • Recommended Use: Rear-facing for infants 5-30 lbs. Forward-facing for toddlers 20-40 lbs.
  • Dimensions: 17"W x 21.5"D x 27.3"H
  • Weight: 11.5 lbs.

4 out of 5 stars Car Seat!   May 1, 2010
L. Rhone (PA)
This car seat is very nice. I had one problem with it which I figured it out. It is very very hard to loosen the shoulder straps for the baby. I finally turned the seat over and here the stap/tag/buckle were stuck and wouldnt let it release. Hopefully it wont happen again but overall the saet is very nice.

2 out of 5 stars Functional but problematic   January 17, 2010

Bought this car seat when child turned one. Easy to install. But the straps/buckles twist almost every time we use it. Trying to get a squirmy child into the seat and then having to untwist buckles and straps. Not fun. Wouldn't buy it again and will demote it to Auntie's car when child grows a bit more.

1 out of 5 stars If you're used to Britax and the like, this seas SUCKS!   December 21, 2009

We have a Britax Marathon and a Britax Boulevard that we use in different cars. We needed a carseat for one set of grandparents and bought this one because it was much cheaper than the least expensive Britax. Well, you get what you pay for. Installation was a hassle in that the instruction manual did not tell you HOW to do things. Ultimately it works fine, though it seems less comfortable than the Britax line.

2 out of 5 stars 25 pounds and too big for seat!   December 21, 2009

We bought this seat to have at grandma's house so we wouldn't have to lug a seat through the airport. My son is 20 months and at 34 inches and 25 pounds the straps are too short to even buckle. I wouldn't mind if I had thought this seat would have lasted until 40 pounds, but clearly it doesn't. We have a Britax at home and for a hundred dollars more it is so much better and feels much safer and more secure with plenty of room to grow! Sometimes you get what you pay for!

4 out of 5 stars Backup seat   October 29, 2009

I use this seat as a backup for my husband's car. I still prefer my Britax roundabout for my primary, but this graco is made well, my daughter appears very comfortable and I like the head support and extra cushion. I have yet to attach the cup holder so I don't know how that will work. Overall I am very satisfied with this carseat.
